With our attempts to cultivate nature, humankind causes the rising of a next nature, which is wild and unpredictable as ever. Wild systems, genetic surprises, autonomous machinery and splendidly beautiful black flowers. Nature changes along with us.
Artist, researcher and philosopher. The discovery of Next Nature has been the most profound experience in my life so far. It is my aim to better understand our co-evolutionary relationship with technology and help set out a track towards a future that is rewarding for both humankind and the planet at large.
I am a designer interested in systems, consumerism, the function and definition of nature and our notion of time. Quantity, appearances and colors of objects produced by man have always fascinated me.
Next Nature Researcher
As interaction designer I work on meaningful interactions between people and systems. I my work combines technology with strong visuals and concepts. I am co-founder of Grrr, an Amsterdam based design agency for interactive media that designed the NextNature.net website.
