What is Next Nature?
With our attempts to cultivate nature, humankind causes the rising of a next nature, which is wild and unpredictable as ever. Wild systems, genetic surprises, autonomous machinery and splendidly beautiful black flowers. Nature changes along with us.
What are Next Nature events?
The events we organize are best described as ‘intellectual spectacles’. We usually invite artists, scientists, designers, filmmakers and thinkers to present their powerful imagery, radical ideas and visionary statements on how we can design, build and live in Next Nature.
So far we have been in cities like Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Essen, Eindhoven, Utrecht, Rotterdam. There is also a Next Nature DVD with a compilation from our events in Paradiso Amsterdam (NL), Zeche Zollverein (DE) and the Million Dollar Theater in Los Angeles (USA)
Hire a speaker
Besides organizing events we also give lectures at conferences, universities and festivals for both professional as well as general audiences. We usually dispatch our editor in chief Dr Koert van Mensvoort MFA MSc, who is a renowned and passionate speaker on Next Nature.
