We already recognize faces in our cars, now it's time for our cars to recognize our faces. The high-end car manufacturer Jaguar is working on a new technology that will allow users to open the car just by approaching them.

The company believes that the current keys and buttons systems are flawed in terms of security and that with the current technology used for selfies and face recognition they will be able to identify the face of the owner (and authorized users) and open the car for them. Their software will also recognize the walk style and movement of the user, so it won't be possible to just use a picture of the owner to hack the system.

The manufacturer hasn't released any further details on the upcoming technology, but as usually happens in the auto industry, this may later become the norm and soon our four-wheeled friends will be a little bit more human.
