Today the first and oldest Dutch museum, the Teylers Museum in Haarlem, opens a new wing: the Lorentz Lab. This laboratory once belonged to Hendrik Antoon Lorentz, a scientist best known for winning the Nobel Prize in Physics with Pieter Zeeman for the discovery of the Zeeman effect and for laying the foundation for the special relativity theory of Albert Einstein. Tonight from 19.30 to 22.30, the Lorentz Lab, the lab from the past, meets the NANO Supermarket, the lab from the future. Come visit us to taste and test the NANO Supermarket products and experience the impact of nanotechnology on everyday life.
