Internship at NNN

We are seeking a:

Intern Back-End Web Development (EN)

who will contribute to the continuous development of the NNN webshop and membership system

As part of the Publications team you will work on maintaining, extending and improving the existing shop and subscription infrastructure that powers NNN's growing membership community. You will obtain an understanding of the inner-workings of our subscription system, and extend the existing checkout as well as improve the account management options.

We are not only looking for a capable technician, but also a creative thinker and communicator: you are comfortable with solving challenging problems and developing adaptive concepts for new feature requests. Equally you should be able to communicate your ideas to a diverse, sometimes non-technical, audience.

You’ll be supported by a Front-End Web Developer, with whom you’ll be in frequent contact. Additionally you will join our weekly (virtual) team meetings to brainstorm and share your process and ideas.

Competencies

— Affinity with the Next Nature vision
— Experience working with Kirby CMS, VueJS and the ParcelJS bundler
— Independent maintenance and extension of PHP-based applications and MySQL databases
— Collaborative code development using Git, Composer and NPM/Yarn
— Understanding of JSON and REST APIs
— Nice-to-have: experience with Laravel Forge or Mollie’s Payment & Subscriptions API
— Social, effective and constructive team-player
— Speaks and writes English
