virtual miss germany

Scientists are looking for the most beautiful woman in Germany... At the 2002 Miss Germany pageant, the eight finalists were photographed from the same angle without makeup. The portraits were then mixed into a virtual Miss Germany using computer graphic techniques. The research was conducted by Dr Martin Gruendl of the University of Regensburg.

she is a product of the gods themselves.nothing has been done to alter her nature,so she deserves the prize of beauty from whomsoever will do so.

Wow, this image... I feel like I know her. But she's ice-cold at the same time. What's wrong with her right ear? It smells like bacon. Perhaps this image is not too perfect at all. She must exist! Let's give her a name. (This project reminds me of something: http://larashots.com/model/jenn.shtml )

  • I've cleaned up this post a little bit. The category is difficult to choose. I wouldn't go for old nature. Maybe it is in 'nature becomes culture' and 'culture becomes nature' at the samee time? Tagging is easier. It is certainly hyperreality (The simulation of something which never really existed). I've also tagged 'digital presence' and 'made to debate'. I was considering 'manufactured animals' but that would be insulting so I've created the new tag 'hyperbody'.

  • nice one.. it's hard to place it... but it's fundamentally about natural beauty, right.. so is it old nature?
